Road Pricing The Way Forward?

Since mid 2000, 8 European cities have been at the leading edge of developing, testing and implementing a variety of urban transport pricing optionsas part of the European-funded PRoGRESS project (see www.project-progress.org).
The results of these projects will be presented at the Road Pricing: The Way Forward in a series of workshops. These will be led jointly byPRoGRESScity representatives and experts from the CUPID project.
The conference had a very practical focus and concentrated on many of the aspects associated with planning, putting into operation and managing road pricing schemes.
